Exclusive Interview

Who are your top 5 influences? 1.) Joyner Lucas, because of the way he tells his experiences,  his stories, the way he makes every music video into some type of skit it just amazes me that he’s not as high up in the music industry as I believe he should be. 2.) Young MA, the way she flows effortlessly and has not a care in the world about what anybody thinks of her and had the ambition to keep pushing with her music to make it where she is now, I want that type of courage. 3.) Armon & Trey,  I feel like they are very underrated. The way they carry their relationships with them the entire way while growing together. I love that, because I value relationships very much. 4.) Chris Brown, everybody has different opinions about him but he has grown to become one of the most known artist on the planet right now. Dispite any downfalls he’s had along the way, no one could deny his talents, he’s an artist, a dancer, a singer and rapper, etc. Also, he represents my home state. So I grew up singing his music when I started making my own rnb songs at the age of 7. 5.) XXX Tentacion, though he resting now, I love how he could turn a sad emotion into a song and make you feel it, he turned everything into something beautiful as well as realistic.

When are your new projects coming out? I have two new songs on the way soon, I don’t want to make any promises because I don’t have all the equipment right now and I’m hoping to use something other than my phone to finish up my new tracks.

What helped you get into music? I got into music more so, as a get away. Anytime I was going through something, I made a song. Whether it’d be about wanting to shoot somebody or wanting to love them so hard that it hurts. There was always an emotion I had to express but couldn’t express through simple words, so music was my leeway, my release, my communication, it was just art for me. You never realize how deep a painting is to the artist, you just kind of see what you’re meant to see, because we all see differently.

What is one thing you would tell your fans? I’m not much of inspirational Mongol, but I would like all my fans to chase whatever dream they’ve been reaching. At the end of the day, the life you live is yours, and the choices you make are only YOUR choices. But don’t rush into anything. If you feel like you’re failing, remember, it takes failure to know what success is. Believe in yourself the way you believe in your favorite artist, actors, etc. Ask yourself do you have what it takes, if that answer is no, find what it takes from YOURSELF to prove everyone else wrong who ever doubted you.

What are your biggest goals for 2021? To find my own peace. I’ve dealt with a lot these past few years from family issues to issues within myself. I’m hoping to get more involved with my music and just grow from any pain I’ve had to heal from these past few years.
