Give us your bio: I’m an 18 year old artist from Kettering Ohio who is trying to be the best producer of all time. I have made 3 mixtapes all of which haven’t been finished to a level I was satisfied with but they weren’t meant to be perfect so I released them anyway. I want to spread joy throughout my community and I want to create art that inspires and resonates with others.
Who are your top 5 influences? My top 5 influences in order are J Dilla, Kanye West, Animal Collective, Tyler The Creator, and Sufjan Stevens.
When are your new projects coming out? I’ve been working on a project for about a year and a half now that’s going to be released Q1 of 2020. The mixtape is called Someday and will discuss the American dream and the fear of going into adulthood. I also have a Christmas album planned for this year.
What helped you get into music? My family is very passionate about music with my older siblings and parents playing records nearly 24/7. Singing along to The Beatles on long drives with my family are some of the best memories I have and ever since then I’ve known I wanted to make music forever.
What is one thing you would tell your fans? The one thing I want to tell my fans is to never limit yourself by your own perception of yourself. If you have confidence in your ideas let yourself express them. Your biggest obstacle in life is yourself and you’re in control of yourself. Continue to follow your heart, have empathy, and remember that everything you do has an effect on someone even if you don’t realize it right now.
What are your biggest goals for 2019? Continue to grow as an artist and person, drop the Christmas album, and spread joy throughout my inner circle.
