What helped you get into music? First of all, my uncle…he was an Electronica Music Producer and I started to watch him on Fruity loops 1 back in 97 +-, I was like 7/8 years old maybe and it was love on the first sight. Then it was life…life made me start beatmaking, I didn’t had no love or support from my Family as a teenager, my Father went away from Portugal when I was 12, my younger Brother died, didn’t had any food and was I grown in an “African Cultured” neighborhood, I have African blood Family too, my hood Brothers were my Family (are still are most of them) so i was locked inside a “bubble” full of vibes, mixed genres and ideas, some of them bad and some good…it was my only way to feel love and beloved by something, making Instrumentals.Thats where it all started to make sense to me.

He grew up between two worlds: his family’s deep ties to African and Hip-Hop Music and the years he spent learning how to evolve his Music Production skills. “Noise” started his career early (with other nickname) and with 17 years old he was already producing Major Portuguese Hip-Hop heads, and after a few years, Major African and Brazilian Artists. Now he is focused in expanding his Instrumentals to even more Countries..
Who are your top 5 influences? My top influences are the ones who inspired me to start making beats when I was a teenager, so Timbaland, Dj Premier, Scott Storch, JDilla, and The Alchemist.
New Projects? I have life projects and objectives…so my focus is to work with Artists outside my “comfort zone” or Countries that I use to work, Beatstars just made that possible honestly, I kind of lack in terms of marketing my own website, and I just started to focus on my beatstore (powered by Beatstars) couple of months ago so…we’ll see.
What is one thing you would tell your fans? Man…nowadays I have 1 beautiful kid (the 2nd one is going to born in April), a beautiful Wife, our own house…you name it…and no, I still don’t earn that much from Music, as I said I lack on marketing my stuff, and I started with 30 years old my own beatstore, BUT, yes I do make money from music.Honestly there is no hidden gem, just be yourself, be consistent, be humble and friendly. oh and collab a lot with other Producers! Dont be afraid to loose, going thru all this stuff is what makes us stronger! You can make it…anyone can!Filter the bad vibes and learn from the best, accept positive criticism.
What are your biggest goals for 2020? To keep working, to keep focused on my objectives and goals…and of corse hopefully make Hits Worldwide and collaboration a lot!
