Unvisible

Exclusive Interview

What inspires you the most when you create? Honestly it mostly comes down to the way I’m feeling. The way my week has been going or things that have happened or I’ve thought about recently. I get inspired a lot by the world in general. Heading outside to be around people and nature tends to help me when I get stuck.

Who are your top 5 influences? Thats a tough one with some potentially surprising answers. In no particular order as of right now I’d say Motorhead, Com Truise, Shlohmo, Mansur Brown and City Girl.

When are your new projects coming out? I have a new single called Headswimming which will hopefully be out by the end of the month and the plan is to have another album out by the end of the year.

What helped you get into music? My family. I grew up on classic rock and heavy metal thanks to my parents. They always encouraged me whenever I showed interest in music and I’ve had instruments since I was little. I tried my hand at drums first and I sucked! Eventually got into Bass when I was about 15, formed a band with some friends which fell apart and then really didn’t do much until around two years ago when I thought I’d have a shot at making music again.

What is one thing you would tell your fans? Not sure I have any, but if I do I would let them know that it blows my mind that anyone out there likes my music anywhere near as much as I do and that I’m hugely greatful that they do.

What are your biggest goals for 2019? To get another Unvisible album out for sure. There’s another, very different project I”ve been working on for a while that I’d love to get finished this year too. Outside of that, just to keep making music.
