What inspires you most when you’re creating? What inspires me most is creating a feeling or vibe to the track I’m recording.. my goal is to create a sound unlike anybody else in music right now because I’m not like any other artist out there.. I strive to be diverse with my music I never want to sound the same twice.
Top 5 Influences? My top five influences come from many different backgrounds but I’ll stay on topic with hip hop artists.. my biggest influence when it comes to music is Xxxtentacion and Mac Miller both artists deaths hit me hard this past year considering I’ve listened to Mac Miller since I was 8 years old.. I’m also inspired by Nirvana and Kurt Cobain I have feature music that has a more Grunde and muddy sound to it… Asap Rocky, Kayne, Kid Cudi, Wayne all these guys come in the top five too I just don’t know who to pick.. I also enjoy many OGs of the game but they don’t really influence my sound.. Also shoutout lil peep RIP.
New Projects? I plan on having a project come out this summer and then another in the fall depending on the reactions I get from my new singles I still have to drop.. I’m fairly new to the game I’ve only been making serious music for a year and I have about 6 songs I would consider legit on SoundCloud.. but I’ve accumulated over 100k plays and those are just from my hometown in Springfield Illinois and that’s about the only shout out my homes getting cause it’s a shitty depressing place so I guess that also influences my music..
What got you into music? My friends help me get in to music especially my guy David he also is a fire artist and his soundcloud is TYSLilDavid.. he really pushed me to get into the studio after I developed an ability to freestyle.. also my guy Mikey whose rap name is MoneyBag$ Mike really pushed me to bring melody to my music and gave me the confidence to really sing on the beat as well as rap.
Anything to tell your fans? One thing I’d tell my supporters the word fan is weird to me plus I wouldn’t consider myself at that level yet is listen to my music hopefully it relates to your life, money ain’t shit and makes ppl shady and greedy… I’m not in it for that I truly love music and making it which was something I’ve been ashamed of for a long time but now I’m finally owning it and my talents.. also I’m trying to push my music out sound of my local area so hopefully this interview will help with that..
Biggest Goals of 2019? My biggest goals of 2019 is to go from 1,000 SoundCloud followers to 10k and push my music to bigger audience and actually be able to perform and bring my music and energy to a live show.. I selected my stage name because underground rappers have lost creativity and I wanted to mock that, I also never intended to get to the point I’m at with music. In 2019 I’m going to have to really decide where I want this journey to go and I hope to make more unique and relatable tracks that help whoever listens throw low points in their life…
