What inspires you when you create? What really inspires me when I create is the fact that it seems the art of lyricism has been forgotten by some in the industry today, I’ve always been a fan of authentic rhymes. Playing with your thoughts to paint a bigger picture, showcasing skill in a flow is something I’ve always admired about a true mc. In layman’s terms who can really spit
Top 5 Influences? My top five influences in no particular order. Eminem for sure gotta acknowledge the goat. J.cole for showing mc’s how to maneuver the industry in a low key way but have impact. Kendrick Lamar for is many many different styles and work ethic to his craft. Andrew 3000 his rhyme was always so dope and interesting to listen to. And Lupe fiasco, his music helped me throw some tough times.
New Projects? I got some things in the works. Coming off my dupet project (ALI), I got two singles coming out pretty soon, one featuring a nice mc by the name of piwi. She good and up and coming like myself so working with her has been cool. And as for a another major project theres one cookin ha.
What got you into music? My love for music has always been around ever since a young age. I haven’t always written but hip hop and the culture has always been in my life. As if it was calling me this whole time, so actually deciding to jump into music was kinda fate I think.
Anything to tell your fans? If I do have any fans, one thing I would like to tell them is I appreciate them listening, my music’s not for clubs or anything like that. I rap for the love of the beats and words, and anyone who actually understands that and listens to the lyrics will learn and know why I do this. That I am true to this.
Biggest Goals for 2019? My biggest goals for 2019, really just to keep this journey going, I’m a long way from where I want to be and know now it’s about the journey not the destination. So in 2019 I want to show people I got the skill, I got my own thing, and I’m comin for any and everything that’s mine, no matter who’s in my way. Legend or new comer, I’m here to show not that I’m the best, but that I can be in the conversation.
