Exclusive Interview

What inspires you the most when you create? How I feel mainly but also want to express what I have learned and/or experienced. Imagination also inspires but ultimately, everything comes from heart and spirit or from my connection to the source of All. I open up the best I can and let it flow through me.

Who are your top 5 influences?. There so many influences but I will say my Top 5 in order of personal discovery: 1. Progressive and Classic Rock bands of the 70’s inspired and really started my musical journey. Bands like Kansas, Styx, Rush, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and so many others… 2. 80’s Hard Rock and Metal with phat drumbeats and catchy Keyboard riffs got me interested keyboards more along with all the 70’s artists I had been listening to. Bands like Queensryche, Night Ranger, Motley Crue and many others. 3. 90’s and 2000’s Contemporary Smooth Jazz and New Age artists. Kieko Matsui, Peter White, Brian Culbertson, Candy Dulfer Mindi Abair. Started listening to Enya, Yanni and solo projects by Rock artists who were playing other forms of music like Sting, Craig Chaquico and Neil Schon. The Electronic and HipHop invasion. XM satellite radio (later Sirius XM after the merger) gave me an education and healthy dose of what was going on back in the 90’s and 2000’s in HipHop and all forms of Electronic music. Listening to Run DMC, Busta Rhymes, TLC and The Beastie Boys to Electronic and Chill artists like Zero 7, Moby, so many others. 5. Everyone I have ever met and played music with are the biggest inspiration. I love to work with different artists and have for over 30 years. I always hope to have time to work with other artist and my own music.

When are your new projects coming out? As soon as I have the time to work on them. I have been busy running a delivery business the last 7 years to finance my music career but to date, the delivery business gets most of my time.

What helped you get into music? Seeing spectacular performances and hearing amazing movie scores and soundtracks. I have always dreamed of making contributions of these kinds but to date, that has not happened yet. Learning to become a better drummer/keyboardist along with learning how my gear works has really kept me going. Still learning. Always learning, always growing

What is one thing you would tell your fans?  Love. Love your family, your life, your life connections. Let your heart guide you and let the music heal thy soul…

What are your biggest goals for 2019? To be a full time musician, achieve lucrative song placement and be free to pursue my own happiness worldwide.
