Exclusive Interview

What inspires you the most when you create? I could write 7 books on what inspires me to create, but I’ll narrow it down and keep it simple. I love life and experiences and if you think about, everything that you watch visually has a soundtrack behind it to allow you feel even deeper than what you see. I basically do that with everyday life, whether I’m walking through city, or biking, or driving there’s always a consistent soundtrack in my head to make that moment THE MOMENT. Everything has a beat and rhythm but sometimes it just takes paying attention in a moment to notice. Noticing how good life can be in a moment when there’s chaos all around you is what inspires me the most. It’s like, in a moment you remember how to smile & i guess I’m trying to create and re-create each moment in every song I write or produce.

Who are your top 5 influences? Tough question only because there are so many possibilities, but if I had to narrow it down I’d go with – Michael Jackson – New Edition — more-so Bobby Brown – Quincy Jones – Bob Marley – Jack Wilson of Fickle Friends – Also one more for good measure Gary Larsen of New Orlean’s own Royal Teeth.

When are your new projects coming out? yes actually! At the moment I’m working on several tracks, one of which (my favorite), will be released possibly before the new year! I’m pretty excited about inviting you all into my world!

What helped you get into music? – Life honestly, I remember i used to make sounds out of anything at age 5 I remember singing along to songs programmed into my cousins Casio but I’d always re-word them to what i wanted them to say. I was always told growing up that if I really love something make it my job. I just so happen to fall in love with the one thing that everyone feels connected to. It’s like music understood me no matter what i went through, there was always a song that could speak when i didn’t have the words and always a vibe that brought me back to all of my greatest life experiences good and bad. Honestly i had and still have this groove stuck in me that I need to get out! Music is my way out.

What is one thing you would tell your fans? Love yourself and don’t apologize for it. Take in every experience and turn into what you want it to be. If you can get away with it just be yourself. I know will!

What are your biggest goals for 2018?Biggest goals of this year and the New year…..to put out more content, more shows, & videos and make LeTrainiump a name you remember and a world you always step into!
