What inspires you the most when you create? My environment has a major impact on my creativity. I never like to play in a cramped, messy space; it’s good to have an organized studio with plenty of natural light and nice decor.
Who are your top 5 influences? Bo Burnham, Tim Minchin, Brian Crain, Frank Zappa, and Pink Floyd
When are your new projects coming out? Right now I’m saving up for professional recording equipment, and I should have what I need to produce new, higher quality tracks within a month.
What helped you get into music? I was having a psychedelic trip one night with my two best friends, Shaun and Chris. I was lying on my bed with my cat curled up next to me, when Chris played “A Song for Sienna”, by Brian Crain, on his phone. The music flowed over me like the tides of a beautiful dream, and I felt such a profound connection with those around me and the with universe as a whole; it was at that moment I realized I wanted to be a pianist.
What is one thing you would tell your fans? If you’re learning to play an instrument, don’t practice all at once; if you’re practicing for an hour a day, break it up into four separate fifteen-minute sections. The mind absorbs information better if it’s exposed to it more frequently.
What are your biggest goals for 2018? To release a new track by New Years!
