    BIO NYTY is a rapper from the DC, Maryland & Virginia metropolitan area. NYTY (Tony Prunty III) was born on Oct 15th 1990 in SE Washington, DC & moved to Prince George’s County when he was 12. NYTY has been rapping since 2003, he saw a rap battle at his school at the time (Crossland High School) & that pushed him to start writing as Akshon. NYTY found himself around 2007 which the name change came from. NYTY came from the last two letters of his first and last name To(NY) Prun(TY). My style is described as a fluid perspective portrayal of the world around me as a urban black male with an alternative sense of consciousness. My passionate voice, delivery, slow cadence and vividly frank lyrics make me an enjoyable listen if you are an old school rap lover or a new age fan. My balance is my best asset and my ability to depict life through lyrics in a plethora of subjects, emotions, and flows.

    Top 5 Influences? My top 5 influences are Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Tupac, Jay-Z and Kobe Bryant.

    What got you into music? A rap battle at my high school. I was in ISS at the time.

    It was in a little hut outside. You know the trailers lol.

    Anything to tell your fans? I would tell my fans that I appreciate them. I dont have many at the moment but the ones I do I appreciate alot.

    New Projects? My new project is coming out in Spring 18′ and it’s called DAJONT.

    Biggest Goals? My biggest goals are to gain more fans/exposure, tour, release my project and alot of great content and just be happy.
