BIO: My real name is Daniel Flores but I go by dFlowrbe. I was born in Oak Park, Illinois and both of my parents were born in El Salvador.
Influences? When I first started getting serious about music I was influenced by joey badass and the old school/boom bap area of hip hop in general. I’ve also always looked up to Lil Wayne because of his creativity. I like Big Pun because of his flow and aggression and Curren$y because of his laid back delivery. Lastly, I’ve been listening to a lot of Saba lately and he’s definitely one of my favorite artists right now. I listen to a lot of various styles of hip hop because over the years I’ve grown to like experimenting with my music instead of just sticking with one specific sound.
New Projects? As of right now, I’m going to keep releasing singles consistently because my main goal for 2018 is to stay consistent with my music. However, I do still plan on releasing an EP or a longer project on Apple Music, Spotify etc. sometime in 2018.
What got you into music? I’ve always had a love for Hip-Hop music since I was a little kid, so eventually this inspired me to start writing my own music because I thought to myself “If they can do it I can too” . I guess I just listened to so much hip hop music as a kid that I was bound to make something of my own sooner or later. I started writing to a beat that I found on YouTube when I was a freshman in high school and since that day I fell in love with it. I started out just rapping on the school bus having fun as a freshman to actually taking it seriously going to the studio when I was a junior in high school. Ive also always met people in school and out of school growing up that were into rapping and producing so this has allowed me to build relationships with people over the years with people chasing the same dream as me. When we’re not working or in school, me and my friends are in the studio creating new music for the world to hear.
Anything you would tell your fans? One thing I would tell my fans is that I appreciate everyone that takes the time listen and share my music because it’s a great feeling knowing that all your hard work is being heard and that people support my passion.
