Top 5 Influences? My top 5 influences are Kid Cudi, Childish Gambino, Lil B, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar.
New Projects? The next project I plan on dropping is called DREAMWAVEPARADISE and is set to release in March. The content is mostly tracks with ambient production and upbeat bangers; Titled “Dreamwave” because of the wavy 80s revival sound.
What got you into music? I first got into music through production. I was taking piano lessons and I wanted to compose songs so I started making beats. Eventually I decided to use them for myself rather than selling them. My family helped me buy my first studio equipment. At the time I was a huge Lil Wayne Stan so my early work was mostly inspired by his legacy and content was punchline heavy. I was also inspired by the positive messages I heard in Lil B’s music. In truth he taught me how to be myself and not care about judgement from others. I really want my fans to know how independent I really am. My songs are almost always 100% produced, recorded and engineered by me. I also want them to know that it’s okay to act like their natural selves and not conform to the social normality in place. My mind is a judgment free zone so I think everyone should just do their thing.
Biggest Goals for 2018? My biggest goal for 2018 is to grow creatively as an artist. I want to evolve my sound quality wise, content wise with more abstract meaning and story telling, and more original production with less samples. Another big goal is to grow my fanbase as much as possible. I want to spread my name more locally and perform at large venues more often; I want to be able to go on a successful tour by early next year.
