Give us your bio. Artist & record producer Born in Compton California, Sir Jon Lee has recently released two projects—”Melancholy,” and “Respiratory Care” . Sir Jon Lee has also worked alongside and produced records for Artists like El Prez, F.Y.I, D’Rok The Menace, Daniel Curtis Lee(DrIive) and many other up and coming artist in the Southern California Scene.

 

Who are your top 5 influences? No Order. Kanye West, JAY-Z, Dr.Dre, Dean Martin & Martin Scorsese When are your new projects coming out? It will be released September 22 “He Eats With Wolves”

 

What helped you get into music? My dad was a musician/ producer. I grew up in the studio, just about all my relatives does music, its always been there. Its apart of me. The first time I knew music was something I wanted to do was the first time I saw the video for Kanye West’s “Through the Wire” video. I was at the Underground Mall in Atlanta. I was there for a visit when I was a kid. I was in the footlocker store. I looked up at the tv and there it was. Instantly inspired. That moment changed my life. I wanted to be like him.

 

What is one thing you would tell your fans? Be stubborn with your dreams. Go for it. Be relentless and execute. Do whatever it takes to get shit done. Never let anyone tell you that its impossible. Be great. Be a Wolf.

 

What are your biggest goals for 2017? I lost my dad earlier, and I was fortune to be able to work with him. I had that opportunity. A few of those song we worked on are on my album. So putting this album out is the biggest goal of 2017. And of course I want to see this album to do well. I want to be recognized for my talent. I want to be the best me possible. I just want to make my pops proud.
