Exclusive Interview

BIO I am an 18 year old producer from Southington, Connecticut. I recently graduated from Southington High School two months ago and plan to continue my education at UConn while continuing with my music career. I first learned about producing from my dad who has been in a band for around 40 years now. He has done everything from recreating songs to covering songs and more which helped me first get into making my own music around 2 years ago. My mom and dad are both very supportive and instrumental in my ongoing grind as a producer.

Top 5 Influences? My top 5 influences have got to be Sonny Digital, because of the support he gives to producers and the fact that he can both rap and produce. On the same note Dre is another person I look up to. My third person would be metro boomin because he’s on top of the game right now and just puts out heat. I also look at Logic because he engineers a lot of his own stuff and for the positive vibes he gives off. Lastly, I listen to a lot of Mike WiLL because his beats are so clear and coherent as well as simple enough that everyone could latch on to them. 0.As of right now, I’m working with a bunch of artists putting out a lot of singles pretty consistently at this rate and also jumping on some of the tracks and rapping myself.

New Projects? The biggest project I have coming up is with my man Suess. We are currently working together to create his first mixtape.

What got you into music? My dad helped me get into music big time. He has taught me a ton of the stuff that I’m able to do now and has helped me move into the field as a whole. Other than that, my love for music brought me into it and I basically have used youtube to teach myself a lot of the stuff I know now.

Anything to tell your fans? One thing I would tell my fans is that I love them for all of the support and feedback they give me on the music I put out because they help me improve everyday and always show love. I see them just as I see myself because without them none of this is possible.

Biggest Goals? My biggest goals for 2017 is to create more connections and get to work with a couple of local legends around CT such as Chris Webby, Jitta on the Track, or ANoyd
