EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
BIO I only ever dabbled in music as a teen, nothing serious at all. I was more into Football (Soccer) and pursued that as far as I could until I realised it wasn’t going to happen, for various reasons. I was living in California when my love for writing/rhyming was rekindled, Kendrick just dropped GKMD and the response it got was astonishing. It made me realise there was another lane that hadn’t really been explored before – or done correctly – and he was doing it with crazy lyrical ability too. So when I got back to London I started writing, and at the beginning of 2014 I decided this was what I was gonna do. I only ever wrote stories, poems etc so really sitting down and trying to write rhymes/songs was challenging at first. But in the last 2 years I taught myself everything, structure, multis, double entendres, stacking metaphors, rhyme schemes, flow, cadence, delivery. From scratch. I was a student of this hiphop game for so long that all of sudden 22 years of learning just came oozing out of this pen and is gradually turning me into a monster.
Who are your top 5 influences? –

What helped you get into music?
I’ve been into music for so long, not even from a creative stand point, just a hoarder/collector. My sister, dad, whole family are just really into all types of music and love listening to it all the time. My dad also plays drums so he’s been a great influence.
What is the one thing you would tell your fans?
try hard always. deep inside freedom flourishes. refuse negative constraining energy. – tha diff.rnce
That’s the mantra. That’s the way of life
What are your biggest goals for 2016?
More music, music videos, merchandise, shows and just great vibes!
