BIO hip-hop/rap Beginning to write and produce during his senior year of high school in early 2013, New England Hip Hop/Pop artist Kid Shannie got his foot in the door in 2014 by signing with indie label MeggaToned Records in Boston. His first release under the label was his September 2014 debut album Up & Coming and for undisclosed reasons he was dropped from the label the same year. Not to be discouraged by the release from the label, Kid Shannie released an independent mixtape series on http://Datpiff.com titled HomeTown Heroes in 2015 & 2016. Come summer 2015 he moved cross country to the San Francisco Bay Area, California, to grow his fan base. His follow up project, Full Throttle EP, was released on Datpiff on July 24th to provide his fans a glimpse into what he has in store. On October 6, 2015, Kid Shannie released his first radio single titled Keep It 100 featuring Tory Lanez and Sideshow. With radio play across the country, the track is sure to leave a lasting impact for new and existing fans alike. Expect the album to drop during the second quarter of 2016 under his new artistic name “Shane Healy” In April 2016, Shannie revealed that he decided to go by “Shane Healy”. Following his name change On Wednesday, August 3rd 2016 Shane released his first single off his Sophomore LP titled “Stick Around” the track should be getting radio recognition within the next coming months

My Sophomore LP titled “Second Time Around” is dropping before the end of the year
What helped me get into music was always being inspired by the artist that came before me. And wanting to travel the world and go on tour.
I would tell all my fans to never give up on their dreams. Anything is possible and anything can happen if you put your mind to it.
My biggest goals for 2016 is to drop a successful sophomore LP and hopefully go on tour to support the project
