Bio: Samarah Poe, only 18, is an artsy fartsy kind of girl, with a knack for acting. Between producing beats, writing lyrics, modeling, and acting, she finds time to be a full-time worker and full-time student. A lot on her plate, she looks to her friends and business associates “WU Media Group” for solace, but she loves being independent and getting stuff done on her own.
Top 5 Influences: I’d have to say my top 5 influences would be my motivation for success, my two wonderful sisters and inspiring little brother, my parents who push to make things happen not only for themselves, but everyone who’s lives they touch as well, the mulah lol!, and finally my audiences are a huge influence on me and what I do – I want to promote my platform of self-love and acceptance to all of my following so that they can achieve the kind of love I have for myself, with themselves.
New projects: I have quite a few new projects in the works. Some related to music, and some unrelated to music. All coming very soon though. With the start of a new school year and all of my leadership positions, it’s been a little hectic, but I’m doing the thang, ya know?
Fan love: One thing I would tell my fans is to #loveyoself. Always and forever. Self love is one of the most important aspects of life. You can’t get very far emotionally, physically, and spiritually, if your heart, mind, and body aren’t in tune with eachother. You gotta protect your body and heart to fight another day, not diss it and disrespect it. That’s for girls and guys!
What helped get into music: My father is actually a big force in the Music and Entertainment industry, as is my mother. They both lent a hand in giving me the artsy gene, so I kind of just picked up on all of the stuff they do naturally!
Biggest goals for 2016: To burn brighter than I ever have before, and keep on shooting for greatness.
