Bio:

Joey Capo is a rapper/singer out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who is definitely not your typical “Average Joe” artist in the music industry. His music is highly influenced by people like Notorious BIG, Big L, Drake, and many others in today’s industry. But after only a couple years of turning a hobby into his main ambition, giving everyone a detailed image on “life as he knows it”, Joey Capo is on his way to creating his own wave of music. Making music from past to present everyday life experiences, creating a new and gritty vibe for all his listeners around the world, painting a vivid picture from beginning to end in every song. Joey Capo is definitely one artist in the new school era that you will definitely want to keep an eye on!

Who are your top 5 influences?

I would have to say my top 5 biggest influences in music would be Notorious BIG, Big L, Drake, Dean Martin, And Majid Jordan. I am most inspired by the different styles all of these artists have contributed into the art of music.

When are your new projects coming out?

My newest project titled “ENSO” has already been released on May 22, 2016 on my official website JoeyCapoMusic.com for download and streaming. But also, on June 17th, I will be releasing the same EP “ENSO” on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal. Pre-order on iTunes starting June 7th.

What helped you get into music?

One of the main reasons I got into music is how I am able to express my mind in a creative flow of words, knowing that there is no right or wrong way, you just let your heart speak. Then after creating a song, I watch as that vision comes to life through a melody and how that melody can become an influence of completely impacting the world.

What is one thing you would tell your fans?

Just to be real, stay true to your talents, and accept your own lane to your dreams. People will oppose different because different sticks out to the rest that is “normal”. So, take being “different” as a  blessing and just own it.

What are your biggest goals for 2016?

Other than doing a tour and getting signed to a major label, my main goal for 2016 is to put the world on a new wave of music and introduce a whole new sound and style to the industry at a major level.
