Well….my weapon of choice is Maschine. It’s what I use to create music, chopping samples and flipping melodies. I have been a Dj since the age of 15 and grew up in the era where Dj’s used vinyl to spin records. Now I live in the Dominican Republic where I work on beats daily but grew up in Philadelphia.
My top 5 influences would be 50 Cent for his hard work and hustle, Rain910 because it was him that first showed me Maschine. Dj Jazzy Jeff for his smooth style and ability to not only mix hip hop but any genre of music, Sade for ability to captivate her audience for so many years and my Dad who always supported my dreams no matter how far fetched they were. R.I.P. Papi!
Currently I don’t have any projects coming. I am working with an artist out of Houston and upload music to Sound Cloud hoping to be discovered.
I always had an ear for music, playing the drums for my middle school Band and Orchestra. I also had several rap songs I wrote played on Power99 in Philly dating back to 1985.
To my fans….I would like to say that I strive to get your attention. When they write me or comment that they like a particular song, it’s always a pleasure to read those messages.
My goal for 2016 is to provide a fire beat, hook, sample or song for a known or up and coming artist.
